Detoxing the pineal

Spiritual detoxing is both physical, mental & emotional. A spiritual detox can also be your diet, as diet affects your emotional & physical which then affects your spiritual. It is all interlinked, therefore I advocate for these 3 components to be balanced in order to be healthy, full of energy & vitality.

Recently, I was guided to do a detox focused on the pineal gland. The pineal gland is such an important organ but we actually don’t know much about it & it is not discussed enough. In fact the pineal gland is an important spiritual organ, it is the one that allows your third eye to fully function. The third eye is what allows us to get higher knowledge as well as information. Some benefits of having your third eye open:

  • mental clarity

  • improved concentration

  • clear self-expression

  • strengthened intuition

  • a sense of bliss

  • decisiveness

  • insight/intuition

  • spiritual perception

Your pineal gland is part of the endocrine system in your brain, and it plays an important role in regulating almost every function in your body including:

  1. reproduction

  2. executive function

  3. growth

  4. body temperature

  5. blood pressure

  6. sensory and motor activity

  7. sleep

  8. mood

  9. immune function

  10. appetite

  11. longevity


I personally have been activating my third eye for a while but there are things that block this process. If you are on your ascension path or having a spiritual awakening your third eye will be coming online & you will become much more powerful!

Your third eye is connected to your pineal gland, so anything disturbing your pineal function will affect your third eye vision & power. The main way your pineal gland gets affected is by fluoride. Fluoride calcifies your pineal gland & is a very deadly substance in general for your health. This is why I advocate for absolutely no fluoride in your diet or oral care. Fluoride is a substance used widely in our culture & it is promoted as being safe, but after much research I came to find that it is absolutely not safe & inhibits your health in so many ways.

For me personally, I was guided intuitively to stop drinking tap water, this was a couple of years ago. Now I understand why, because it is actually pure poison. This is why I stopped consuming tap water, even filtered tap water because it has fluoride in it & heavy metals that many filters cannot filter out.

Your pineal gland is affected by poor diet, environmental exposure, and even stress, your pineal gland is also susceptible to the accumulation of other toxic metals. Heavy metals such as mercury impair your pineal gland’s ability to detox itself & heavy metals are absorbed into the brain. This is why it is important to do a heavy metal detox & decalcification of the pineal gland regularly. But to ultimately stop consuming fluoride altogether.

However, some obvious signs are:

  1. Headaches

  2. Inability to fall asleep

  3. Depression/anxiety or mood disorders

  4. Neurological issues

WAYS TO DETOX

So here are ways you can detox the pineal gland which I have personally tried:

  1. Spirulina smoothie

Spirulina is a great way to detox from heavy metals as it binds to heavy metals in your body & removes them. You can add spirulina powder to almost any smoothie recipe. For me I like to use:

  1. frozen berries

  2. bananas

  3. almond butter

  4. almond milk

  5. hemp seeds

  6. organic spirulina powder



2. Chlorella

Chlorella is the same as spirulina, it binds to heavy metals to detox your body. This one is a bit more flavourful & robust, it can be used in different ways. You can add it to smoothies, but I add it to my water. I do this occasionally on my detox days. I just drink chlorella water all day & I feel amazing after!

Chlorella has incredible health benefits like DNA repair and cellular detoxification, it is also rich in vitamins, minerals and contains chlorophyl which is what detoxes the body.

Truly such a wonderful superfood to try!

3. Chaga powder

Chaga mushrooms have been used for centuries in Siberia and other parts of Asia as a medicine to boost immunity and improve overall health. It is super for decalcifying your pineal gland along with other health benefits.

Chaga fights free radicals & is one of the top foods for antioxidants!

I recommend the powder form, I make it like a tea with almond milk & honey! It is delicious!

Other recommendations:

These are only a few ways to detox, but remember in order to keep your pineal healthy you must:

  1. Avoid fluoride - Tap water and toothpaste are the two most common sources of fluoride exposure. Drink pure spring water

  2. Monitor your diet - Eat lots of organic fruits and vegetables and lean protein. For me I follow intuitive eating

  3. Eat foods high in chlorophyl - Dark, leafy greens are a great source of chlorophyl. Wheatgrass, blue green algae, and chlorella

  4. Raw cacao - Raw cacao is said to stimulate and detoxify the pineal gland. This may be due to its high antioxidant content.

  5. Take iodine

  6. Reduce exposure to EMFs - EMF’s have been shown to negatively affect the pineal gland by hindering its production of melatonin. EMF’s are Wi-Fi routers, cell phones, microwaves, smart meters, and TV and computer screens.
