My Diet
I have had many questions about my own diet & my diet journey so I decided to write a post about it. I have personally changed my diet to accommodate my healing & new higher vibration. Since last year I have changed my lifestyle & have adopted a more clean conscious diet. Before this I was living a very hectic lifestyle with many projects & things going on, I was constantly eating out & eating more dense foods. Once my feminine healing started I began making a lot of diet changes. I began to cut out certain foods completely this includes dairy & red meat. My feminine healing caused me to stick to a very low carb diet, with no sugar, carbs, no dairy or a lot of meat. However, through my healing I definitely had cravings for meat, specifically chicken, this is something I ate occasionally, maybe once a month or even less.
As my healing intensified I would get a lot of bloating after meals, this is around the time I was healing my sacral chakra. I would focus on eating just vegan/vegetarian during this time & avoiding dairy. I still had fish occasionally & on intense energetic periods I would incorporate some meat into my diet to ground & hold the energies. A diet for ascension or diet for healing should be very light foods, no heavy dense foods. With my own healing I really started to get focused on eating more organic & detoxing my body. I believe detoxing is so important & necessary when you are going through rapid healing. I also like to do a heavy metal detox & pineal detox (more on this under “Detoxing the Pineal”)
I started following intuitive eating, where I would bet guided to certain foods or cut out some foods completely. I was intuitively guided to cut out coffee, I was drinking it every morning & it was not good for my stomach as coffee is very acidic. I switched it up for matcha latte instead (check out “Matcha Over Coffee” blog post). Recently, I started having lemon water in the morning before celery juice as part of a cleanse. Lemon water is good to put your body into an alkaline state which is exactly why you need to have it first thing when you wake up. This is a practice I learned from Medical Medium & his book “Cleanse to Heal” which is something I am still studying & incorporating into my routine. I believe all women should follow intuitive eating, but also be aware of how certain foods impact the body. I believe eating consciously is important because we are putting toxins in our bodies without even knowing. If you follow intuitive eating, you need to be careful that your cravings are not ego driven (more on this on “Intuitive Eating Style”)
I eat consciously now — being aware of how food impacts my body & I follow my intuition. Your body is very powerful & intelligent, it will guide you to the right food that your body needs to be healthy & heal itself. I have followed my intuition when it comes to my diet for a while now, I know that my higher-self is guiding my food choices & they are not ego driven. For some people their cravings might be ego driven therefore evaluating this is very important.
I believe diet is based on consciousness & vibration but also on the person’s constitution. There are a lot of different diet rules out there, but the rule is to follow a clean organic diet, with no dairy or a lot of meat. If you don’t crave meat then you don’t need to eat it, for my own constitution I incorporate a bit of meat. Because my constitution requires it. But this could change as my vibration increases.
Fasting
I have started doing intermittent fasting ever since my healing started. Some days I felt like I needed to do this in order to give my body a break & a reset. Usually I would do a 24 hour fast, which means I ate dinner & did not eat until the next day at dinner time. I would start my morning with a pressed juice & had water throughout the day & maybe nuts to snack on. Then I would eat a normal sized dinner.
The benefits of fasting are many, I personally witnessed more connection to my higher-self, a gut cleanse & better digestion, cell regeneration, better mental clarity, less cravings, detox & reset of my body.
I would advise everyone to try it in order to experience these effects.
Medical Medium
I have started adopting some of Medical Medium’s methods, especially after I read “Cleanse To heal” I found that the celery juice method in the mornings has definitely made a difference. I see my skin improved, with less discolouration, pigmentation & fewer pimples. My digestion is so much better, with significantly less bloating. So overall I have been happy with these practices & the positive effects on my wellness. I am still studying the book & occasionally I do a detox following his methods & recipes.
